Zoey has had a passion for movement since she began dancing at the age of 3. It was while working towards her BFA in Dance that she was first introduced to yoga and was instantly drawn to the introspective nature of the practice. In 2008 she joined her first training program at Moksha Yoga Center in Chicago where she has been fortunate to practice, study and teach through 2015 where she also received her 500hr certification. It was through Moksha that she was introduced to many different teachers and styles that has given her a broad perspective and passion for Yoga.
In Zoey’s classes you can expect to flow through breath connected movement that has a strong focus on alignment. You will be asked to focus on remaining present in each moment and above all else learn to know, understand, and accept your self body, mind, and spirit.
