1. What originally brought you to yoga?
A Groupon. It started as just a way to exercise.
2. What keeps you coming back?
You guys! I’m obsessed! Yoga is a great way to keep my mind, body and spirit healthy–one stop shopping.
3. What is your favorite asana and why?
Ardha Chandrasana (Half Moon). It started out as an “impossible” pose that I dreaded. Now I love the openness and expansion I experience in the physical posture, which of course follows me into life. I still fall out of it sometimes, but the same applies in my life: just keep going and trying, and eventually you’ll soar!
4. What do you love about Seva?
You guys! I love the instructors at Seva. I also LOVE that yoga is not just exercise here. It’s a spiritual practice that’s great for the physical body as well.
5. What do you bring off your mat from your practice?
So much that I had to write a whole blog about it! Every day I’m grateful for the open heart I’ve found–a physical way to reorient myself by rolling my shoulders back and opening rather than resisting. Yoga has truly changed the way I approach my life.

Anywhere that has water and sunshine!
I love food. I guess whatever I’m eating with good company. Especially on a patio! (Seriously, I love food!)
